Title I, and MN Math and Reading Corps Families are invited to come to an Egg Bake Breakfast on Thursday, November 15 at 7:45 a.m. Families will enjoy an egg bake breakfast and then children will be dismissed for a project while parents hear from Anthony Taylor who is the Adventure Director with The Loppet Foundation.
The Loppet Foundation provides a number of opportunities for students here at Park Brook. Students in grades 3, 4 and 5 will learn how to cross-country ski in physical education class with coaches from The Loppet Foundation. In February, students who have learned how to cross-country ski are welcome to participate in a cross-country ski event and the Luminary Loppet. In May, fifth-grade students will learn how to mountain bike and canoe.
Park Brook appreciates the opportunities The Loppet Foundation provides for our students.
Anthony Taylor is an advocate for outdoor education. He will be sharing about the great benefits of being active and the connection to learning.
