Volunteer at Elm Creek!
Welcome to the Elm Creek Volunteer Program! Volunteers are an important part of our school and we appreciate the time you share with our students and staff! While some volunteers are able to volunteer weekly, others can only commit to a few times during the school year. We appreciate and encourage any level of participation. There are many opportunities for volunteers to help from home too!
All volunteers must have a current volunteer application on file. Completed applications may be scanned and submitted via email (below) or you may drop them off in the office.
Adult Volunteers Adults over 18 wishing to volunteer at Elm Creek must complete the 2018-19 Adult Volunteer Application. This includes parents, grandparents or other extended family, community members, retirees, college students, etc.
Youth Volunteers Middle school and high school students under 18 should complete the 2018-19 Youth Volunteer Application and schedule an appointment to meet with me and discuss current opportunities.
There are many ways to get involved at Elm Creek – both at school and at home. Please print and submit this Volunteer Opportunities Form with your volunteer application.
TRACKING VOLUNTEER HOURS
Our school district tracks volunteer hours each year. Parents, community and youth volunteers who help onsite during the school day are asked to sign in and out using the volunteer computer in the main office. By logging in and out of the system when you are at school volunteering, your hours are automatically tracked and saved.
Volunteers who help with projects at home, outside of the school day with projects or events should submit their hours here: At-Home Volunteer Hours Log.
Thank you for volunteering – our teachers, students and staff appreciate the time and support you give to Elm Creek! Please contact me if you have any questions about volunteering – I look forward to working with you during the school year!
